Mission
At Moves for a Mission, our goal is to support children in need through chess education and events. By organizing fun events, where we can play, learn and share our talents, we can spread kindness – one game at a time!
Raising Money for Charities (nonchess and chess-related)
- Chess Tournaments – Players are paired on similar rating levels as themselves and, the games are USCF-rated by a NYS Chess Affiliate.
- Chess Education – Game analysis, mentorship, and overview of world championship games by Grand Masters.
- Chess Social – Four rounds of unrated chess games where players of all capabilities are welcome to come and play.
